Can Antidote integrate with MS Outlook under macOS?
Over the last few years, Apple has been tightening their security measures and causing communication issues between Antidote and certain applications.
In order to restore Antidote's integration with Outlook (complete with Anti-Oops!), Microsoft must develop a new architecture allowing its software to use add-ins. Although Microsoft declared that their objective was to start this process before the end of 2020, we have yet to receive anything from them. We are therefore not able to provide an estimate for the availability of a new connector to reestablish the integration of Antidote in Outlook.
However, ad hoc calls to the various tools are now possible! You will first need to download Antidote 11 version 2, then add the appropriate connector from Connectix. Then, you can use the Antidote bar (floating bar that can be moved with its title bar) or the Connectix Agent menu (monochrome flask in the menu bar).
Please note that the integration is functional with Antidote 11 v2 under macOS 11 and macOS 12 Please note that the integration is still functional with Antidote 10 under macOS Mojave 10.14.1
