Frequently Asked Questions

Can Antidote integrate with MS Outlook under macOS 10.15 Catalina?

In their most recent updates, Apple has been tightening their security measures and causing communication issues between Antidote and certain applications. Antidote's integration with MS Outlook could not be maintained under macOS 10.15 Catalina.

In order to restore Antidote 10's integration with Outlook, in the way it has always worked, Microsoft must correct accessibility issues or allow desktop applications to communicate directly with Outlook. Microsoft has proposed an alternative that consists of an entirely web based complementary module. However, the entirety of these elements offered by Microsoft that will allow Antidote 10 to work will only be available in December of 2020. Until then, we are in constant communication with them, but we are unable to deliver a full integration (including the Anti-Oops!).

In the meantime, you can call upon Antidote through the correct copied text option (available as of Antidote 10 v.2).

Please note that the integration is still functional under macOS Mojave 10.14.1
